Here are some of the answers that have come in to the question, “Why should someone attend the Pioneer Valley Invitational?”

The 9th annual PVI will take place on May 18th and 19th, 2024!

We project we’ll be opening up the bid process in the early fall.

• PVI was a great tournament experience. Meeting all the other teams, some new, some old friends, and playing in the best-run tournament I’ve ever attended was fantastic. There’s competitiveness for team at all levels, and I love that the TDs prioritize spirit so highly. It’s a great environment, and I can’t wait to go next year!
• Great competitive play and friendly atmosphere
• It was the biggest ultimate tournament I have ever played in and it was so much fun
• It is the most fun you’ll ever have playing high school ultimate — guaranteed
• It’s awesome!! From food to organization, everything that I may need during a frisbee tournament, they have. Such fun competition and games!
• Do give youth the opportunity to play Competitive Ultimate Frisbee and play Canadian Teams as well as introduce and demonstrate the friendly, supportive Ultimate Frisbee Community.

We are so, SO excited to host you all! A few l last items:

Please find me (Josh) to say hi in person this weekend if you can. I LOVE being able to meet all of you face to face.

PLEASE drive 10mpg on Island Rd., the last road leading into the Oxbow.

Make sure you are deeply familiar with the schedule. Same with the program. (There are no paper copies of the program this year.)

6:45 to 7:25am: Check in for all teams that are playing during the 1st round

8:10 to 8:55am: Check in for all teams that have a 1st round bye

During check in (at the tournament central tent) all teams need to show us their permission to treat (medical authorization) forms. You can show us digital copies. Teams will also get their dinner tickets and spirit score sheets (one for each day).

We’re looking for a team to play Blaze (Ottawa) in the Open C division at 9:30am on Saturday. Anyone up for a SUPER fun game against a SUPER fun team? Please let me know ASAP.
