PVI2019 – Online gear store!

Missed out on picking up some PVI gear? Now’s your chance!

The VC online gear store is now up! Place your orders now — As far as we know the online store will close on May 26th!

Thanks for coming to the 6th annual PVI!

An entire world built around ultimate.

What a place!

From all of the 125+ volunteers that make the PVI happen… thank you for coming out to the Oxbow for a truly magical weekend of awesome!

If possible, please forward this message to all members of your team.

1) We’d like everyone that attended the event — players, coaches, chaperones, spectators — to fill out this short online feedback survey. The information you submit will helps us build an even better event in 2020! We know that filling out feedback surveys can be a drag, but know that the best way for us to improve the event, by far, is to hear from you.

2) Mark your calendars for May 16th and 17th, 2020! That’s when we’ll be holding the 7th annual PVI! The event will be back at the Oxbow!

3) We’d love to see any and all photos and video that you took this weekend. You can email media and links to media to josh@pvinvite.org. You can also send files directly to us using this link.

4) Details regarding lost and found items will be online soon.

5) Please look over the reported game scores. Let me know via email (josh@pvinvite.org) if you see any numbers that aren’t right. At this point I have posted all submitted game scores as well as all spirit results.

6) All spirit scores are now online (XLS: Girls Division, Boys Division) and embedded below. I will be directly emailing each team their written comments in the next few weeks.

[Green means above average for the division and red means below average for the division. Orange means the high score for that column.]

PVI2019 – Saturday PM Update 2

Wow.

What a day indeed! Here’s where things stand:

Some photos from today are online here and here.

The full schedule is online here. Please look it over in detail and make sure you know where to be when. Send questions in ASAP if you have any.

The Falmouth B boys are running low on numbers and are looking for some pickup players. Anyone from another team is welcome to join them for some or all of their games tomorrow which will take place at 9:30, 12:30, 2:00, and 3:30pm. If you’re interested in picking up with them, please email their coach James Whiting at whitingjamesf@gmail.com.

A pickup game for family and friends of players was called for… so we’re going to schedule two of them! The first one will take place from 8-9am on Field 14 and the second from 12:30 to 1:30 on field 5. Anyone is free to come on out and play… players too if you’d like! Bring a dark and a light and have some fun!

Please make sure you turn in your Sunday spirit score sheet to tournament central immediately after your last game is done tomorrow. Please make sure you:

  • Fully identify your team
  • Fully identify all of your opponents (Each column needs to be labeled with your opponent’s name.)
  • Use whole numbers only
  • Please write carefully and legibly. Please.
  • Remember, some schools have more than one team in each division!

The Awards Ceremony will take place 5:20pm at Tournament Central.

PVI2019 – Saturday PM Update 1

What a day! Thanks for playing so hard, and with so much spirit!

Complete results from Saturday, along where everyone is playing their first Sunday am game, are online in the schedule spreadsheet. Please make sure you look it over in detail and let us know ASAP if you have any questions.

Preliminary spirit score data for Saturday is now online: Girls, Boys. Full spirit score data will go out later tonight.

Miss out on getting exactly the tourney gear item you wanted? VC just launched an online store for PVI gear! A few notes:

  • Code to get free shipping – customers can add any other VC gear in to their cart and have it shipped for free, too – anywhere in the US! “PVIFreeShip
  • Store open until next Sunday, May 26th
  • Also, from Adriana @ VC: “If teams want to order up printed gear (the dark tanks, jerseys, cotton hoodies or something like that), we can process them like team orders, but have them drop me an email (adriana@vcultimate.com). Min 12 units.”

One note for tomorrow: PLEASE write out FULL team names on your spirit scoresheets, especially for your opponents. We have to enter thousands of data points and it’s a big slow down if we have to look up opponents.

Team Boxes 2019
