The Pioneer Valley Invitational is made possible by the efforts of 75+ volunteers each year!

Would you like to help out? We are looking to fill a few volunteer slots, so now’s you chance!

You can sign up to volunteer right here.

Excellent progress has been made by many teams on their paperwork! Thanks! That being said, some teams still have some work to do. You can check the status of your paperwork at any time on the Team Status page.

All teams should keep in mind:

• All players on all rosters will need to be fully cleared by 5/13/17. [Due paid, online waiver signed]
• You will be able to modify your roster until 5/13/17.
• Please remove players that will not be playing.

These teams are currently NOT cleared to play. Each of these teams must email me immediately, and outline what steps they are taking in the next 2 days to complete your roster.

• Amherst JVA (Boys) [Blank roster]
• Amherst JVB (Boys) [No roster started]
• Beacon X (Girls) [Blank roster]
• Beacon Y (Girls) [Blank roster]
• Berkshires (Boys) [Blank roster]
• Northampton JV (Girls) [No roster started]
• Northampton JVA (Boys) [No roster started]
• PVPA (Boys) [No roster started]

The following teams are only provisionally cleared to play. This means they are well on their way to having clearance, but have yet to 100% complete the paperwork/registration process. Until the incomplete/missing items are wrapped up, these teams will not be allowed to play.

• Amherst JVA (Girls) [Not enough cleared players]
• Lexington JV (Boys) [Missing tourney fee]

Emails connecting teams to their hosts will start going out in waves in the next few days. We are aiming to connect all housing emails sent out in the next 10 days. Keep in mind that only those teams that confirmed their housing needs using the housing and dinner form will be receiving housing. If you don’t receive your host information in the next 10 days, please reach out to housing director Megan Zinn at mrzinn88@gmail.com.

Please make sure to send in your dinner fee check so that it arrives in Easthampton by this coming Friday, 5/5. The cost for dinner is $12.50 per person. 2. The big paperwork deadline is coming up this Friday, 4/28 at 8pm EST. Lots of teams have done some great work on their paperwork, but many still have work to do. It’s hard to believe we’re only 42 days away from the 4th annual Pioneer Valley Invitational! Wow!

Here’s what everyone needs to know:

1) We are currently at 22 girls teams and 38 boys teams, which means we have space for 2 more teams in each division. Please email me (jseamon@gmail.com) if you’re interested in bidding for one of the last slots.

2) All teams need to be working on their paperwork. This is not something that can be put off or that can be done quickly. All paperwork must be completed by Friday, 4/28. If your materials have not been completed by Friday, April 28th then your team will be dropped from the tournament and you will receive no refund. Seriously.

3) All teams need to fill out the Dinner & Housing confirmation form by Friday, 4/14 at 6pm EST. Please make sure you fill out this form even if you won’t be eating at the Saturday dinner or needing housing. This form needs to be filled our once per team, regardless of the information you submitted during the bid process. We are currently in the midst of assigning housing to teams and need to confirm the information you submitted several months ago on your bid form. Once again, all teams need to fill out this form.

4) We’re excited to have Spin Ultimate as our official merchandiser for this year’s event! As a part of their sponsorship, they’ll have great merch and prizes available. It also means that your team is eligible for a 20% uniform discount through Spin. If you’re looking for a great place to order uniforms, please support Spin and give them a shout at Info@SpinUltimate.com. You can also call them at (404) 736-6499.

We’re only 77 days away from the 4th annual Pioneer Valley Invitational! Wow!

All accepted teams should be working hard at completing their paperwork. The process isn’t hard, but some of the steps can take a little while. Don’t wait! Get as much of your paperwork done early as you can! It’ll help everyone!

One last important note: If your check was sent in in the last 4 weeks, there is a decent likelihood we will not have housing available for you. We are working hard to find free housing for everyone, but due to the expansion of the event (64 teams!) it’s looking likely we won’t have space for everyone, so teams will be housed in the order their checks were received. So, please start looking for your own housing if your check was sent to us in the last month. We will be sending more more updates regarding housing by the end of the month.
