We asked people who have attended the PVI why someone should attend. Here’s what they said:

Because it is the greatest tournament on earth. It is the Woodstock of Northeast ultimate tournaments!
Well organized & fun!
Positive experience for players and fans
Incredibly well organized and wonderful event coordinators
It’s a well run tournament that draws teams from all over!
Its highly competitive, with teams from all over the country competing
Its a fun event for all ages!
It’s a really fun tournament to play in and the tournament environment really fun!
It is a great tournament for playing many other people from who you normally play and to meet others and bond as a team
It is a fun way to watch ultimate on a high level and a play on whatever level you or your team is at
Someone should attend PVI because it’s really fun! Playing games against teams from all over was cool, and I got to meet people and make friends that I wouldn’t have if I hadn’t attended. It was pretty close to where I live, so it was a decent commute. I really liked that there was some time in between games so that I could rest, but I also like that we had more than one game per day because I LOVE PLAYING ULTIMATE!!! This was an amazing experience for me and I’m so glad that I got the chance to play in this tournament.
Great spirit and top-tier playing experience for the players, super fun and easy spectating experience for supporters. Free nutella and pb sandwiches for everyone? Yes, please.
Well organized. Environmental stewardship leading by example. A greater number of fair/level competition for all levels of teams.
Very fun event
The competition is amazing with teams from all over the place and the event sorted by leveled divisions. The tournament Central is amazingly well run.
To enjoy fresh air by the mountains and the lake at oxbow marina
H.S. teams should attend to compete and stretch their skills, watch the games, meet new ultimate disc players, expand their ultimate community network, embrace the Spirit of the Game, score new merch and work towards an invite to Nationals. Teams need a LOT of social, emotional and physical support to have great tournament experiences, so parents and spectators should attend to support their teams — sidelines boost energy on the field and add to the Spirit of the Game. Generally, spending the day outdoors in a beautiful landscape near the water, watching (and photographing) some seriously amazing ultimate disc games and cheering on the teams is a great way to spend a weekend!
Any high school team that wants to expose their players to playing ultimate at the “next” level should compete at PVI. It exposes players to more competitive ultimate with plenty of spirit and community.
It’s a really great opportunity to play a variety of different teams from different parts of the country that are also at different skill levels.
Phenomenal levels of play, athleticism, spirit, and organization. This is how you get someone “into” Ultimate!
Huge tournament with variety of players from different places and the competition is good.
Most fun we’ve had as a team with the road trip and billeting.
A well run tournament with top competition
It is always a lot of fun and you meet so many interesting and different people
It’s really fun to play teams from everywhere–and level of competition is however you want it to be.
PVI is a great event and well ran, as i have just been to my 4th event. Great facility, great people and great tournament
It was very competitive, very well setup, very fun, and displayed very high spirit
It’s a great way to start off the season. Plus super good organization and everyone is so nice and helpful
