The first draft of team rankings is online in the team status spreadsheet. Please take a minute to look over the “5/4: Div” and “5/4: Ranking” columns and let me know by tomorrow, 5/6 @ 8pm ET if you have any comments.

Here’s the general competition outline.

• Female-Matching A: 10 teams. Two pools of 5. The winners of the pools will have a bye to the semis. The 2nd and 3rd place teams after pool play will play in a quarter finals round to determine the second two semifinalists. 4th and 5th place teams after pool play will play in a bracket for 7th through 10th place.
• Female-Matching B: 8 teams. Two pools of four. After pool play all, all 8 teams play in a standard quarters, semis, finals bracket to determine 1st through 8th.
• Open A: 16 teams. 4 pools of 4. The top two teams from each pool after pool play will play in the 1st through 8th place bracket. The bottom two teams after pool play from each pool will play in the 9th through 16th bracket.
• Open B: 16 teams. 4 pools of 4. The top two teams after pool play will play in the 1st through 8th place bracket. The bottom two teams after pool play from each pool will play in the 9th through 16th bracket.
• Open C: 8 teams. Two pools of four. After pool play all, all 8 teams play in a standard quarters, semis, finals bracket to determine 1st through 8th.

All teams will play 6 games except for 2 teams in Female-Matching A who could play 7.

The goal is to lock in rankings and the game schedule by this Friday night.
